Six Sites Selected for UAS Research
The FAA reports via @FAANews reports six Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) research sites were have been selected. I would argue six research management organizations have been chosen. Read the article carefully and you will see Virginia Tech will be using sites in Virginia and New Jersey. University of Alaska will work at locations in Hawaii and Oregon. As always, you need to know what is going on the airspace you intend to use and ask plenty of questions.
